The popular John Wayne Tiger (Okinawa Tiger, JWD) made by Hong Kong Dragon, which was released several years ago and had been out of factory stock for some time, is now available again. Our store offers shirts, pants, and boonie hats this time. Don't miss this opportunity!
This pattern has been around since the early days of tiger stripes, known by collectors as Okinawan Tiger, John Wayne, or John Wayne Dense (JWD). It is as versatile as the Silver Tiger, and its slightly lighter, almost warbler green color has a high camouflage effect. Tiger stripes are popular not only as a reproduction of those days, but also as an everyday item.
The trousers we offer this time are a standard US cut. They have two hand pockets, two butt pockets, two cargo pockets, one bandage pocket, and a zipper fly.
The Asian cut generally does not come with pockets on the hands. It is very convenient to have this many pockets not only for games and reenactments, but also for everyday use. The zipper is stamped HAMA. Some of the zippers used by the actual product also had HAMA zippers, but they are not precise reprints and differ in detail. The fabric is a little thin but firm. Sizes range from US-S to US-XXL. The Tiger Stripe is a highly versatile stripe, so don't miss out!
Size is measured on a flat surface.
