These lizard camouflage pants were used by French paratroopers during the Indochina War in the 1950s.
Lizard camouflage is the camouflage pattern used by the French Army, which is said to be the origin of the Tiger Stripe, mainly in the Indochina War. It is said that the Tiger Stripe was developed locally from there, and the surplus was taken over by the South Vietnamese army every time the French army withdrew.
The pants are the last series in the lineage that continues from TAP 47/51, but the pants have been improved and have influenced the French army's combat pants since then. They were used not only in the Indochina War but also on the Algerian front, and the color has been improved as well. These are very good pants.
The pants in this case have some fading, but there is no noticeable damage. The pants seem to have been made thinner, perhaps because of preference. Airborne pants are often relatively loose-fitting, but we believe they were modified by an individual. They are not in perfect condition. They are used and cannot be returned. Please understand.
