The USAF N-3A from the 1950s lot, one of the rarest of vintage military pieces, is now in stock. Developed for aircrews on duty in the coldest of environments, this model is a piece of clothing with concentrated detail and presence that sets it apart from its successor, the N-3B. Beautiful color. Size is MEDIUM.
The body is an air force blue nylon shell that retains a slight sheen. The fading of the color, which has been etched over time, creates an outstanding atmosphere.
The front has a CROWN zipper and the top has an original leather tab. This is a detail that can be said to be the perfection of military wear, with the supplies and specifications of the time remaining as they were. The inside is lined with dark brown pile lining, and the same material is used for the lining of the large integrated hood. The inside of the hood is partially peeled, but this does not affect the wearability of the garment. There is a slight trace of a stencil on the back, and the original USAF mark can be faintly seen. The size is MEDIUM, and the rare size range and the heavy vintage construction make it an attractive and practical outerwear for collection purposes.
