This is an actual release of the famous M-1951 Trousers, Shell, Field, a pair of field pants officially adopted by the U.S. Army in the early 1950s. This is a rare piece from the November 20, 1951 contract (first year) lot, and is a MEDIUM-REGULAR golden size. The tags and instruction prints are legible and in good condition.
The M-1951 pants were introduced as the successor to the M-1943 pants during World War II, and were representative of field gear before the M-65 appeared. With durability and windproof properties due to the cotton satin fabric, they were widely used by both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps from the Korean War to the beginning of the Vietnam War. This particular pair is in full spec with zipper fly, cargo pockets, drawcord hem, suspender buttons, and waist adjuster. There is a slight fading due to age, but it has a very tasteful texture as old clothes, and can be used for practical purposes without losing the vintage look.
These are the gold standard of quality military pants that symbolize the good old U.S. military equipment. It goes well with not only military pants lovers but also rugged work style and authentic outdoor fashion. It is very difficult to find an early lot in this good condition, so please take advantage of this opportunity. Because it is a used item, returns are not possible. Please understand.
