This is a fishing hat type tiger stripe hat with Okinawan tiger pattern fabric, estimated to be from the late 1960s. It is locally made, probably in Vietnam.

The fabric has some fading, but we estimate that it is in almost unused condition. We are not sure why the fishing hat was made instead of a boonie hat, but it is likely that it was privately procured. It is likely that the hat was manufactured locally for recreational use or for use after returning to Japan, using leftover fabric. It is in clean condition with no noticeable scratches. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
