This Tiger Stripe Booney Hat uses the Okinawan Tiger pattern from the 1960s. Unlike the CISO cut hats mass-produced at the time, this hat does not have bush links, but instead has buttons attached so that it can be worn like a cowboy hat. There are some photos from that time that show the hat worn in a similar manner.

It is assumed that these hats were probably procured by U.S. Marine Corps soldiers and worn in combat. The shape is similar to the CISO cut, but the details are different.

Overall, the hat has a strong sense of wear, and there are several stains that appear to be paint. There is also some fading and discoloration from sun exposure. There is a name or other writing on the inside that appears to be the owner's. There is no lining. There are some tears that seem to be from that time. The size is relatively large. Because it is a used item, returns are not possible. Please understand.

Size: about 58 (59 is also wearable, but quite tight)
