This is a used 1968 contract 4th Model Jungle Fatigue. It was worn by U.S. Air Force soldiers and has been converted to short sleeves. The length has been shortened and the item has been tailored to your own liking. Air Force and Navy soldiers often have these types of personalized items. In most cases, Army and Marine Corps short-sleeve modifications are rarely seen in combat, except for duty wear at bases. The Navy and Air Force have such modifications for comfort, as they are less likely to be used in jungle areas.
The name tape has been removed from this shirt, but the rest of the rank insignia, branching tape, etc. remain as they were at the time. None of the shirts were supplied by the military, but were locally made in Vietnam or Thailand. The military could not keep up with the supply, so in a certain number of cases, these locally manufactured items were used, and they have been put together to create a very good atmosphere. It is in good condition for those who like "used" condition. You can still enjoy it. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
