She was also called "The Mother of the Green Berets" and was especially loved by the U.S. Army Special Forces**. She was a rare person who was honorably regarded as a Green Beret even after the war, as she ate the same food and slept in the same environment as the soldiers in the war zone, and sometimes assisted them in medical activities and encouraged them.
