The CWU-45/P flight jacket is a masterpiece of the U.S. Air Force. This item conforms to the 1973 MIL spec "MIL-J-83388A" and was contracted in 1975, making it a highly sought-after item in the vintage market. Manufactured by the trusted Greenbrier Industries, Inc.

The CWU-45/P features a thick padded construction, a front slanted pocket, and a utility pocket on the left arm. This is an early lot , before the CWU-45P name was used.

The main attraction of this piece is that all the velcro for the U.S. Air Force pilot's patch (both chest and shoulders) has been retained. In addition, the inside is complete with survival pockets and rescue orange cloth for emergencies! This is a collectible real combat piece that conveys the form in which it was actually issued. The condition is very good despite being Used, and the nylon shell is shiny and the zippers move smoothly. The cuffs and hem ribs are also in good condition with no major damage, and can be worn as long as you want. This CWU-45/P is a real issue, with only a few remaining, for those who want to experience the "real thing" of vintage military wear.
