We have just received a special liner (LINER, EXTREME COLD WEATHER, PARKA ) that can be attached to the M-65 Fishtail Parka, a masterpiece of the U.S. military's cold-weather outerwear. This is an original product made in 1982, contract number "DLA100-82-C-0945" and manufactured by "GIBRALTAR INDUSTRIES, INC. Among the many M-65 related equipment, this liner with cold weather specifications is an item in particularly high demand. One recommendation is to change the liner of the M51 Fishtail Parka to an M65 Parka of the same size to reduce weight and provide additional warmth, making it more useful.

The materials used are ripstop nylon for the outer layer and 100% polyester for the padding, providing light weight and high warmth retention. Wavy quilted stitching throughout provides comfort while preventing cold air from entering. Button loops allow for easy attachment to the inside of the M-65 parka, making it easy to put on and take off. Of course, it is also popular as an accent of military style when worn by itself as an inner jacket.
