This is a privately procured suit bag, probably from the 1950s or 1960s. The bag itself is a nylon bag made in the U.S. with a red lining, as Three Star zippers are used on the bag. The embroidery was probably put in at the place of assignment. It is used in the Snoopy motif and has the owner's name and other words embroidered on it. Pilots at the time would embroider their suitbags and helmet bags, and even today, embroidery stores in the vicinity of their postings still procure such items to preserve their personal memories. Although there are some stains and dust, this bag is in good condition and can still be used as an actual suit bag. The material can be wiped with water. This is a used item and cannot be returned.
