These are tropical boots, commonly known as "Okinawa boots," that were issued to the U.S. military in very small numbers in the 1950s. The shape is very similar to WWII 2 buckle boots, but the body is made of OD canvas and there are two holes for drainage on both boots. The sole is made byLUG and is hard, and is called the "Okinawa boot" because it was developed during trials in Okinawa in the 1950s. The buckle is marked "size 7 1/2" with the manufacturer's name and "1951" stamped on the buckle. These boots have features that lead to the jungle boots that followed, and are very rare. The boots presented here are used and have a strong sense of use, and the soles are missing. There is no major damage, but maintenance is required. There is a possibility that the sole may come off, so this item is for those who can take care of it. The leather has some color baldness, but this will not be noticeable if you care for them with shoe cream. The size is marked 7 1/2, which is approximately 25.5cm in modern size, but has shrunk slightly over the years. If you are looking for a pair of shoes, this would be a good opportunity to buy them. Please note that this is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand that this is a pre-owned item and cannot be returned.

Size: 7 1/2 (about 25.5cm)
