This is a dead stock 4th Model Jungle Fatigue Jacket made in 1968. Size tag is MEDIUM-LONG, a popular size, with US ARMY nylon branch tape attached. The patch, which is probably from the 23rd Infantry Division, was sewn on. It has been removed and there are patch marks. Strictly speaking, this item is an unused item from that time.
The 4th Model was the most widely produced jungle fatigues jacket in 1968, when the Vietnam War was in full swing and the number of U.S. troops deployed increased. Many parts of the 1st and 2nd models were omitted to facilitate mass production, and this lot was able to be produced in larger quantities.
There are wrinkles and some stains from storage. There are some patch marks, so this is not a completely unused item. The buttons also show some deterioration. It is an unused item, but will be treated as used goods. Please note that returns are not possible.
