These are the Lizard camouflage paratrooper pants used by the French Army in the Indochina War, and although paratrooper pants are generally fitted with countless pockets in a pattern called TAP 47/53, these 53 pants have fewer pockets and are simply cut with only cargo pockets and hand pockets.

The condition is relatively good, with some fading, but the color still feels good. There is a hole on the back right leg near the calf. Other than that, it is in clean condition with no scratches or repairs. The zipper has deteriorated over time and needs to be waxed or otherwise maintained, but it is movable. The number of French Army 50's paratrooper pants in existence is small, and since there are multiple numbered patterns, the rarity varies depending on the pattern, but the 53 pattern pants are just as valuable as others.
